BudURL deletes clicks that self-identify as bots such as website crawlers or search engines. BudURL also purges click traffic that originates from Amazon Web Services (AWS). To be clear, this means that any IP address assigned to a server at AWS will be removed from BudURL’s clickstream and underlying statistics. These IP addresses are provided by AWS and updated in BudURL on a regular basis.

The update to remove clicks originating from AWS was released in November 2016. To read more about this update and BudURL's general approach to click collection, please refer to this blog post: Clickstream Cleanup-AWS Clicks Removed
