Advice and answers from the BudURL Team

Interested in locating duplicate links in your link manager, or wondering if a member of your team has already created a short URL to a certain destination? The BudURL Pro platform can detect if you have entered a long URL that has already been shortened!

Here's how it works:

*Feature Notes*

  • The long URL must be exactly the same as an existing URL in the system for the lookup to recognize the match- it is case-sensitive and will recognize extra spaces
  • The prefix can be different or missing as long as what comes after it is the same- for example, http://www.google.com, www.google.com and google.com will all be recognized as the same link
